These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Ricky’s RPR Auto Body (“the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 2411 Sichel St, Los Angeles, CA 90031. By authorizing any repair, service, or work to be performed on your vehicle, or by using our website at rickysrprautobodyshop.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Services
Ricky’s RPR Auto Body provides auto body repair, collision repair, mechanical services, window tinting, and auto glass services (collectively, “Services”) at our facility located at 2411 Sichel St, Los Angeles, CA 90031. All Services are subject to these Terms.
1.1 Estimates
All estimates provided by the Company are based on a visual inspection of the vehicle and may not reflect hidden or underlying damage. Written estimates are provided as a good-faith approximation of the cost of repair. The final cost of Services may differ from the estimate if additional damage is discovered during the repair process.
We will notify you of any material changes to the estimated cost before proceeding with additional work. You have the right to approve or decline any additional repairs discovered after work has commenced.
1.2 Authorization to Repair
By signing a repair authorization form or providing verbal or written approval, you authorize the Company to perform the described Services on your vehicle. You represent that you are the legal owner of the vehicle or have the authority to authorize repairs on behalf of the owner.
1.3 Completion Timeframes
Estimated completion dates are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to parts availability, insurance approvals, hidden damage discovered during repair, or circumstances beyond our control. We will communicate any significant delays promptly.
2. Payment Terms
2.1 Payment Due Upon Completion
Full payment for all Services is due upon completion of the repair and prior to vehicle release, unless a prior written agreement has been made. We accept cash, major credit cards, and approved payment methods as posted at our facility.
2.2 Insurance Payments
If your repair is covered by an insurance claim, you remain responsible for any deductible, uncovered costs, or amounts not approved by your insurer. The Company works directly with most major insurance providers; however, final payment responsibility rests with the vehicle owner. Any balance not covered by insurance is due upon vehicle pickup.
2.3 Storage Fees
Vehicles not picked up within five (5) business days of completion notice may be subject to storage fees at a rate determined by the Company. You will be notified before storage fees are applied. The Company reserves the right to place a lien on the vehicle for unpaid Services and storage fees in accordance with California law.
2.4 Returned Payments
A fee will be assessed for any returned checks or declined electronic payments. You will be responsible for all costs associated with the collection of unpaid balances, including reasonable attorney fees.
3. Vehicle Release & Storage
Your vehicle will be released upon full payment of all charges. The Company will make reasonable efforts to notify you upon completion of Services via phone, email, or text. If a vehicle is abandoned or left unclaimed for thirty (30) days after completion notice, the Company reserves the right to pursue legal remedies under California Vehicle Code, including vehicle lien sale procedures.
4. Warranty on Repairs
4.1 Limited Workmanship Warranty
Ricky’s RPR Auto Body provides a limited warranty on labor and workmanship performed at our facility. If a defect in workmanship is identified after repair, please contact us within a reasonable time and we will evaluate and, if appropriate, remedy the issue at no additional charge.
4.2 Parts Warranty
OEM and aftermarket parts may carry their own manufacturer’s warranty. We will provide relevant warranty documentation where available. The Company does not independently warrant third-party parts beyond their manufacturer’s stated coverage.
4.3 Warranty Exclusions
The workmanship warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by subsequent accidents, misuse, or neglect after vehicle pickup
- Pre-existing conditions unrelated to the repaired area
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by improper maintenance following service
- Repairs performed or modified by another party after leaving our facility
5. Customer Property & Liability
5.1 Personal Property
The Company is not responsible for personal property left in the vehicle during the repair period. Please remove all valuables, including documents, electronics, and personal items, before leaving your vehicle with us.
5.2 Vehicle Condition
You are responsible for disclosing any known pre-existing conditions, mechanical issues, or prior damage to the vehicle at the time of drop-off. The Company is not liable for damage or mechanical failure arising from undisclosed pre-existing conditions.
5.3 Test Drives
The Company may test drive your vehicle as necessary to assess, diagnose, or verify the quality of completed repairs. By leaving your vehicle with us, you authorize test drives on public roads within a reasonable distance of our facility.
6. Insurance Claims
We work directly with all major insurance providers to assist with the claims process. However:
- The Company does not guarantee any specific outcome with respect to insurance coverage or claim approval.
- You are responsible for reviewing and understanding your insurance policy, including deductibles and coverage limits.
- Any coverage disputes between you and your insurer are your responsibility to resolve.
- We will provide documentation, photos, and repair estimates as reasonably requested to support your claim.
7. Window Tinting Services
Window tinting services are performed in compliance with California Vehicle Code Section 26708, which regulates the allowable light transmittance on vehicle windows. By authorizing window tinting services, you acknowledge that:
- You are responsible for ensuring the tint level selected complies with applicable California law for your specific vehicle type and use.
- The Company will advise you on California-legal tint options; however, final selection is the customer’s responsibility.
- The Company is not liable for citations, fines, or penalties resulting from the customer’s choice of tint level.
- Tinting results may vary based on existing window conditions and vehicle make/model.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ricky’s RPR Auto Body’s total liability arising out of or in connection with any Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific Services giving rise to the claim. The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind, including loss of use of the vehicle, lost profits, or inconvenience.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded under California law.
9. Dispute Resolution
9.1 Good Faith Resolution

9.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
9.3 Mediation
Before initiating any legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith mediation in Los Angeles County, California. Each party shall bear their own costs of mediation.
10. Website Use
Your use of our website at rickysrprautobodyshop.com is also subject to these Terms. The content on our website is provided for general information purposes only. We reserve the right to modify or remove website content at any time without notice.
10.1 Accuracy of Information
We strive to ensure that all information on our website is accurate and up to date. However, we make no warranties as to the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any information displayed. Service pricing, availability, and hours are subject to change.
10.2 Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience only. We have no control over third-party content and accept no responsibility for any such content or the services offered by third parties.
11. Privacy
We collect personal information (name, contact details, vehicle information) solely to facilitate the provision of Services and communicate with you about your vehicle. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your information may be shared with insurance providers, parts suppliers, and subcontractors as necessary to complete your repair. 12. Modifications to These Terms
Ricky’s RPR Auto Body reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website or notice at our facility. Your continued use of our Services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any written repair authorization or estimate signed by you, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company with respect to the Services and supersede all prior discussions, representations, or agreements.
